How would one go about “upgrading” his or her job?
captain_mildread asked:
I’ve been working at Blockbuster Video for one year, two months and twenty to days, to be precise. I honestly like my job, I am just really tired of the politics involved, and how hard I’m working while only making minimum wage, which is $7.63 in my part of the country. I think it’s time for an upgrade, but I don’t know quite how to go about finding something better. I’ve tried Monster.com, and HotJobs.com also, neither to any avail. Keep in mind that I am only nineteen years of age, and all I have this far in my life is my recently-awarded high school diploma. I do have two years informal experience in computer-aided design, and nearly two years informal experience in theatre classes. I live in the Seattle area, and I’m just trying to do better for myself. Thank you so much for at least reading!
